A Safety Travel cages is required for all Live Bird orders. We guarantee that there are no symptoms of disease or parasites at the time of sale and that our birds are completely healthy. This means that our birds are free of viral infections, pathogenic bacterial infections, fungal infections, and congenital defects.
♦ WHAT HAPPENS ONCE A LIVE-BIRD ORDER IS PLACED?
1) Once your order is placed, you will receive an email confirming your purchase along with our ‘Bird Care Instructions’. These instructions should be understood prior to receiving your bird(s).
2) The day your order is ready to ship, you will receive 2 emails; 1 with a picture of your bird(s) in their shipping cages and a second email with your Airway tracking number. Orders arrive directly to your nearest airport associated with the zip code of your shipping address then the delivery van drives it down to your home address if you prefer home delivery. Arrival times take from one (1) to three (3) days once your order has shipped.
3) Upon receipt of your 2 emails (picture and airway tracking number) please contact the airway that will be responsible for your delivery to let them know you have a ‘Live Bird Shipment’ arriving and ask them to call or Email you as soon as it arrives.
4) The phone number you provide will be on your shipping label – the Airline company is instructed to call you ASAP. Live Bird orders ship on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday ,Thursday and Friday of each week to ensure that your birds are never left over a weekend at the airline company that will be responsible for the delivery of your companions.
If you can’t pick up the Birds from your nearest airport in person, you don’t have to border yourself so much because we have put in place an organized system to make sure the the delivery Truck delivers your bird on the same day However, if you prefer to drive and pick it up at the airport you just have to contact the pet transport company that will be responsible for delivery.
Shipping cost is $100. This flat fee includes all preparations, an airline approved shipping crate, all airline required documentation, and transportation to the airport. We will ship year round; however, we check for weather conditions at the origin and destination to ensure there are no delays. If delays are possible, shipping will be re-scheduled. Your bird’s safety is our priority and we will not ship in severe weather conditions such as cold snaps, snowstorms, heat waves, or if ever deemed unsafe to ship by the airlines. We will provide you with all shipping information including departure and arrival times, waybill number, and flight number once all arrangements have been finalized
